On October 5, a round table was held at the Department of Automation and Information Systems, which became an important event for students who want to learn more about the work of the department and receive valuable advice from teachers with many years of industrial experience. From the very beginning of the meeting, students were introduced to teachers who have extensive work experience:

Sabriden Seitkanov is an Honored Power Engineer of the Republic of Kazakhstan and a labor veteran with more than 50 years of experience in the energy industry.

• Eralimova Galina Sergeevna – the leading programmer of the Bogatyr Komir company. The teachers talked about their work, shared professional stories, and also willingly answered numerous questions from students, revealing the secrets of successful work in industrial conditions. Attracting employees from the production sector plays a key role in the educational process, as such specialists help students not only master theory, but also master skills in demand in production.

Senior students who took part in scientific research and academic mobility programs last academic year also spoke at the meeting:

• Zhumat Atakozi is the winner of the competition of Pavlodarenergo JSC, a participant in the academic mobility program at the Branch of the Kuzbass State Technical University named after T.F. Gorbachev in Prokopyevsk.

Andrey Egovtsev is the winner of the Republican Competition of scientific research works, which was held at the K. I. Satpayev Kazakh National Research Technical University.

The students talked about their research projects, research results, and shared their experience of studying within the framework of academic mobility.

The event became valuable for junior students, giving them the opportunity to communicate directly with teachers and senior colleagues, to learn more about the prospects of scientific and professional activities.
