EITI named after Academician K. Satpayeva is the only university in the Ekibastuz region. Over the 26 years of its existence, it has trained more than 9,000 qualified specialists for the fuel and energy complex of the region and the country.

EITI is the owner of the international award "EUROPEN QUALITY" (European Quality), received in Oxford, Great Britain.

In 2020, the Institute took 11th place among the best technical universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan according to the National Rating conducted by the Independent Agency for Quality Assurance in Education. Many universities could not even get into this rating.

Also in 2020, EITI received a certificate of accreditation as a subject of scientific and scientific-technical activity.

In addition, in 2020, the Institute successfully passed institutional accreditation and accreditation for 11 educational programs.

One of the key priorities of the EITI named after Academician K. Satpayev's goal is to ensure the employment of graduates, which is more than 80% (and in 2020, the employment rate of graduates was 97%), which has been repeatedly noted by high positions in the ranking of universities conducted by NCE "Atameken", in whose ratings our OPS are in the TOP 10 in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

All of the above is facilitated by close cooperation with the enterprises of the region, which make an invaluable contribution to the development of the higher education system.

The practice of employers' participation in the educational activities of the Institute, in the development of the content and organization of the educational process is constantly expanding, and issues of financing and tuition fees are being jointly resolved. The successful development of mutual relations allows the Institute not only to improve educational programs, but also to take into account the needs and needs of enterprises and organizations when introducing new specializations and opening new educational programs based on a competence-based approach.

Every year, the base for passing all types of practices is expanded. The Institute has branches at the leading enterprises of the region, on the basis of which practical training of students is carried out.

The Institute has 3 academic buildings, which house classrooms, educational and scientific laboratories equipped with modern educational and scientific equipment that meets the best international and domestic standards. There are also offices, workshops, 3 gyms, food and medicine points, an assembly hall, student dormitories.

The Institute has 28 laboratories on the basis of the University, as well as access to certified laboratories on the basis of the city-forming enterprises of the city.

The Institute employs 81 full-time teachers, including 2 Doctors of Sciences, 34 Candidates of Sciences, 4 PhD doctors, 30 Masters of Sciences.

The teachers of the Institute are participants of the republican contest "The best university teacher", are awarded the presidential scholarship "Bolashak", are regularly awarded Letters of Thanks from the Akimat, Maslikhat of the city, Nur Otan party, have certificates of Accreditation as a subject of scientific and scientific-technical activity, have patents, copyright certificates, take part in contractual, grant scientific research works.

The teaching staff, along with the educational process, conducts continuous research activities. Thanks to the creative approach of the teaching staff, innovative teaching technologies and scientific research prevail at the Institute. More than a third of the teachers have patents, copyright certificates and are actively engaged in research activities. The contribution of the Institute's teachers to the development of science is evaluated at the highest level. Thus, the projects of our scientists became winners of international business project competitions in Los Angeles, Asian countries in Shanghai, a semi-finalist of the national innovation competition in Astana, and also found their place in the development of industrial technologies and implemented at industrial enterprises of the country, including at the CHP-3 in Astana.

In 2020, more than 25% of teaching staff confirmed the levels of Teachers and Managers of universities, as part of professional development on the basis of the Association of Universities of Kazakhstan and NCE "Atameken".

The Institute's international activities are carried out in various areas, including work under cooperation agreements, initiative events, foreign business trips to establish contacts with scientists and invite them to the Institute, training and advanced training in foreign universities, participation in international conferences of CIS countries and far abroad, etc.During this time, we have established partnerships with more than 20 universities of the near and far abroad, as well as CIS countries.

The active life position of students is supported by the Institute, for this purpose there are two KVN teams, amateur clubs, a debate club, a volunteer club, sports sections for 6 sports, youth construction teams, as well as a vocal and instrumental group, there are modern sports, gyms, an assembly and conference hall, a room for clubs, circles.

The Institute conducts charity events with the participation of student volunteers, as well as holds events with the invitation of the city's youth with disabilities; supports socially vulnerable residents of the city during the pandemic of CVI, etc.

Our students produce their own books, take part in the meeting of Alliances of Students of Kazakhstan, meet with the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Students of the Institute have been participating in the competition held by Pavlodarenergo LLP for 4 years in a row, according to the results of which they take prizes and become holders of a corporate scholarship, take prizes in the Republic of Kazakhstan for the best thesis. Students also take an active part in scientific competitions, Republican Olympiads and conferences, they are champions in various sports, they take an active part in volunteer activities, in youth construction teams, student exchange programs. During the period of restrictive sanitary measures, students continued to lead an active lifestyle even in a remote format.

An important advantage of the university is that our young people have the opportunity to get a decent higher education in their hometown and in the future stay here, find their place of work, contribute to the development and prosperity of their native region. We are doing everything to reduce the outflow of personnel and youth from the region!
